A little of this and that

We made a trip to Des Moines to celebrate our goddaughter's first birthday. Claire Isabelle had a great time although she was not sure what all the fuss was about. She indulged into the chocolate cake and had a ball.










We spent some time this winter at our niece's basketball games. Brittney is a junior this year at Plattsmouth. Her playing time increased towards the end of the year as she improved.(Her number is 23). The girls lost in the districts finals and fell one game short of the state tournament. We have high hopes for next year and look forward to it.











The snow seems to have picked up in February. We had a couple of descent storms with totals of 6 inches or more. Mike gets to use his snowblower and has to make potty stations for the dogs as the snow is higher than their little legs.







We held our annual Christmas Dinner (In January) with the Heiserman's. We had a wonderful night starting with a great dinner at Charleston's Steak house in Omaha. Then we returned to their home and fired up the Wii to work off the meal.
