Sweet Corn Days in Estherville

The First of August brought Sweet Corn Days in Estherville and the Annual Root Beer Float stand to raise funds for Scleroderma. Barb's Mom, Linda works very hard every year to sell Root Beer Floats and treats at the stand. The weekend starts with the town parade which would not be complete without the "Float Away Scleroderma" Float.
The Float is constructed on Friday night and the event is on Saturday. Linda organizes the stand and normally gets the supplies donated by local merchants. Finding volunteers to help is usually not a problem and all the proceeds go to the Scleroderma Foundation in Honor of Barb and her qwest to find a cure. It is a great weekend and they even get in some time to visit.
