We have a new addition to the family this weekend. Mike found David's favorite vehicle on Ebay on Saturday night and it was in Omaha. This is a 1956 F-100 Ford Truck. We showed it to David, penciled out some numbers and he said bid on it. Of course he was nervous and excited for about 1 1/2 hours waiting to see if he won. He didn't sleep a wink Saturday night and Sunday afternoon we drove into Omaha and picked it up. Needless to say, he didn't sleep much Sunday night either. He was in the garage at 130AM because he couldn't sleep, admiring his new vehicle, polishing it up and checking out every inch (again). This round of Chemo, he seems to be getting along better with the nausea and now with the truck, he is WAY more active around the house. Tomorrow (Tuesday), he has his 1 hour chemo and he will be officially half through his chemo treatments, then he will go home to rest in his famaliar surroundings for about 10 days before returning to Omaha.
So this little shot of medicine seems to be doing him well.
